SEATTLE — Desmond Simmons scored 13 points to lead Washington to a 74-51 win over Cal State Northridge on Thursday night. Terrence Ross and Tony Wroten added 12 points each for Washington (6-5). Aziz N’Diaye came off the bench to score 11 points and grab seven rebounds. The Huskies center missed the previous two games because of a right knee sprain. Stephan Hicks led the Matadors (3-7) with 13 points. The Huskies never trailed against Northridge after having their 32-game nonconference home winning streak snapped by South Dakota State on Sunday. C.J. Wilcox made a corner 3-pointer to put Washington up 47-21 early in the second half. Abdul Gaddy delivered the crosscourt pass to Wilcox for his sixth assist of the night. Gaddy was a distributor most of the night, finishing with eight assists and five shot attempts.
