Witness with gun intervenes in armed robbery
Authorities are offering a cash reward for information leading to the arrest of a man responsible for an armed robbery in Coeur d’Alene.
On Nov. 28, a female employee of the Goodwill located at 1212 N. 4th Street told police she left the store about 1:55 p.m. to make a bank deposit and was attacked from behind by the man as she approached her car. She said the man held a knife to her throat and demanded her purse.
A struggle ensued and the man pushed her to the ground. A witness working nearby intervened, scaring off the attacker with his gun.
