Armed robber makes off with prescription pills
Spokane police are looking for a man who robbed a pharmacy packed with customers at gunpoint today.
The man entered the Spokane Falls Clinic at 120 W. Mission Avenue, brandished a gun and demanded an unidentified type of pills, according to a Spokane Police Department news release. The man fled with an unknown amount of prescription drugs and may have been picked up in a black, four-door Volvo with a white trunk.
One officer was two blocks away when the call came in and another was driving on Mission Avenue in front of the location. However, despite their quick response and interviews with more than a dozen witnesses at the scene, they were unable to locate the man.
The robber used a scarf to cover his face and was wearing gray pants and a blue hoodie.
Anyone with information about the robbery should call Crime Check at (509) 456-2233.

Seems like pharmacies could slow down thievery considerably by keeping containers of super-strong laxatives mislabeled as oxycontin.
Criminals are highly social animals, and the word would spread quickly. Along with the smell.
