OUTLOOK: The Zags defeated visiting Xavier 64-54 last December behind Robert Sacre’s 22 points and Elias Harris’ 13 points and 11 rebounds. The Musketeers (9-3) haven’t played since beating Southern Illinois on Christmas Day to cap a 1-2 record at the Diamond Head Classic in Honolulu. They were ranked No. 8 two weeks ago, but an ugly brawl at the end of a victory over rival Cincinnati resulted in multiple players being suspended. Xavier dropped three straight games, but should be at full strength for GU. Guards Tu Holloway and Mark Lyons combine to average 36 points per game. Holloway, who had 26 points in last year’s game, averages nearly 10 free throws per game.
