Man arrested on rape charge

A man was arrested on a second-degree rape charge at an all-ages party he organized in north Spokane on Friday night.

Police obtained an arrest warrant for Jayme A. Cozzetto after investigating a female’s allegation that he sexually assaulted her, Spokane police said in a news release. The female also alleged that Cozzetto gave underage females alcohol at all-age and “rave-type parties” he organized at the Epicenter event facility at 6425 N. Lidgerwood St.

Agents with the Washington State Liquor Control Board did a walk through during the Friday night event, but found no alcohol being served. However, Cozzetto was located at the party and arrested on the rape warrant, police said.
