Religion Notebook: Moran UMC plans potluck

Moran United Methodist Church, 3601 E. 65th Ave., will present a “Souper Bowl” potluck Sunday following its 10 a.m. worship service.

The church will accept cans of soup as donations to the Second Harvest Food Bank.

Quaker meeting discussion group

Spokane Friends Church, 1612 W. Dalke Ave., will present a discussion group, “Theology After Darwin.”

The group will study Darwin’s struggles as he developed his theories at 9:30 a.m. Sunday.
