Liere good example
Regarding Alan Liere’s column Jan. 28 (“Best medicine …”). What a wonderful exposition of an elderly hunter and fisherman battling arthritis and other afflictions of aging in order to continue these activities.
Many of us can absolutely identify with Liere in his efforts to keep going. It is a service to many of his contemporaries to “tell it like it is.” It reminds me that I am not alone in trying to participate for a few more years.
