Winter Yoga Classes – Each yoga class is 60 minutes long and has warm-up period, workout period and cool-down period followed by final relaxation. Babysitting Basics – Course for youth ages 10-15 to prepare them with the skills they need to be a successful baby-sitter. Class covers how to care for infants, toddlers and older children, CPR and first aid for infants and children, discipline issues, safety and business basics. Southside Senior Center Exercise Classes – Balance and Agility: Class designed for those who need additional help with balance, control, and improving the way they walk as well as for those who want to further enhance the way they respond to balance and increase strength and agility. Held Thursdays, Feb. 17-March 24, 1-2 p.m. Cost is $36. Mat Yoga: Explore the gentle movements to increase flexibility, strength and well being. Class will cover body stretches, yoga postures, and breathing practices before participants are guided into deep relaxation. Held Fridays, Feb. 18-March 25, 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Cost is $36. Pilates/Yoga Blend Classes: A blend of Pilates and yoga to improve strength, flexibility, and grace and develop and progress your balance, flexibility, and stamina.
