Eastern Washington Eagles outlook

RECORD: 8-15 overall, 5-6 Big Sky

COMING UP: Saturday vs. Cal State Northridge, 7:05 at Reese Court

OUTLOOK: The Eagles step away from Big Sky Conference play to entertain Cal State Northridge at Reese Court as part of ESPN’s annual BracketBusters. Northridge, a former member of the Big Sky, competes in the Big West Conference and is in the hunt for a first-division finish. The Matadors are led by Lenny Daniel, a 6-foot-8 senior, who is averaging almost 16 points and 9.5 rebounds per game, and Rashaun McLemore, a 6-5 senior, who averages 15.5 points. CSUN and Eastern share a common nonconference opponent in Seattle University. The Matadors lost to SU at home (75-68) and on the road (65-58), while EWU split its games with the Redhawks, winning 95-91 at home and losing 60-51 in Seattle.
