Tax-break oversight home run
I want to commend Andy Billig for his guest column on the Roundtable page on Feb. 19.
I have often wondered how the Legislature knows which budget cuts to make. It seems so hit and miss, and apparently it is.
Andy Billig’s innovative reforms to track these changes, to see if they meet their intended goals, sounds doable and intelligent.
Since it worked for the Spokane Indians baseball team, there’s an excellent chance it will work in government.
Thank you, Andy Billig, for bringing your expertise to our state House of Representatives.
