What are they smoking?

Legalizing marijuana is pretty much the craziest idea ever. I mean seriously, think about it. All the people claiming that it’s helpful for medical purposes only think that because they are too high to remember they had pain.

There are reasons that it is an ILLEGAL substance, so are we just going to forget about those because some people say that it’s helpful?

I’m all for moving forward in medical technology and whatnot, but drugs are not the answer. Sure, they may treat pain and get rid of your headache, but so will that amazing little orange pill called an ibuprofen.

These drugs can also be really dangerous. If we are selling them in a liquor store then it’s going to be used for a lot more than medical purposes, and those can end badly. Marijuana is a drug; making it legal is opening a whole other window of bad opportunities.
