Snoqualmie Pass reopened after avalanche
Interstate 90 on Snoqualmie Pass has reopened after a lengthy closure to clear an avalanche from the road, according to the Washington state Department of Transportation. Westbound lanes have been cleared, state officials said, restoring traffic in both directions.
The pass was closed much of the day westbound at milepost 106 near Ellensburg and eastbound at milepost 34 near North Bend.
