Idaho highway near Rose Lake re-opens

Idaho Highway 3 near Rose Lake has re-opened to traffic one week after a culvert running under the roadway collapsed, the Idaho Transportation Department announced. High runoff and flooding caused the culvert to collapse, washing out the roadway. A new culvert has been installed and the roadway repaired. The contractor worked around the clock until the repair work was completed, the agency said Tuesday.
