Kadie Pratt won the balance beam (9.475 points) while helping Mead to the team title at a five-team Greater Spokane League gymnastics meet Thursday at Shadle Park.
The Panthers scored 165.075 points to hold off University (161.25). The host Highlanders placed third, followed by Lewis and Clark and Rogers.
Pratt (36.15) finished second in the all-around competition behind Shadle’s Alana Norman (36.95). Norman took the floor exercise (9.575) and vault (9.225), and finished second in the other two events.
LC’s Lilly Hoch won the uneven bars at 9.175.
U-Hi’s Kady Martin (34.25), Shadle’s Hailey Barry (32.975) and U-Hi’s Stacey Davis (32.675) rounded out the all-around top five.
Almira/Coulee-Hartline 74, Kittitas 46: Derek Isaak had five assists and combined with Thunder Wellhausen for 31 points and 16 rebounds as the Warriors (10-0) powered past the visiting Coyotes.
Inchelium 45, St. Michael’s 39: Brandon Pachosa totaled 15 points, 10 rebounds, five steals and four assists as the Hornets (2-5) defeated the visiting Warriors (1-6). Tyler Zacherle had 10 of Inchelium’s 17 steals.
Kellogg 66, Kootenai 16: Ryan McDonald and Taylor Hulstrom combined for 23 points, and Garrett Wendt added 10 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Wildcats (8-2) past the host Warriors (2-4) at Harrison. Kellogg’s Ryan Beggerly and Eric Fields had four assists apiece.
Inchelium 62, St. Michael’s 21: Jade Sargent scored 20 points and Tasheena Kohler finished with 10 rebounds and 10 points as the Hornets (1-5) defeated the visiting Warriors (1-4).
