Eastern Washington Eagles’ outlook

RECORD: 4-11 overall, 1-2 Big Sky

COMING UP: Tonight at Montana, 6; Sunday, at Montana St., 1 p.m.

OUTLOOK: The travel doesn’t get any easier for the Eagles, who wrap up a difficult run of four straight road games with their annual swing through Montana. First up is Montana, a team that was as impressive as any in nonconference play, having posted victories over UCLA and Oregon State. The Grizzlies are big inside again and boast one of BSC’s top front-line players in 6-foot-11 senior Brian Qvale, who is averaging 13.4 points and 7.9 rebounds per game. Montana State features one the Big Sky’s best one-two offensive punches in senior guard Erik Rush, who is averaging 15.9 points, and junior forward Bobby Howard, who is averaging 15.2.
