One injured in school bus accident

One person was injured in an accident involving a car and a school bus today about 4:16 p.m. at Perry Street and Baldwin Avenue. Two employees were on the bus, but no children were present, police said. Spokane police would not release the name of anyone involved. The woman driving the car was taken to Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center for treatment of a leg injury. Her condition is unknown. The bus was driving north on Perry Street at the time of the accident. The car was driving south. The crash occurred when one of the vehicles crossed the centerline, but police are trying to figure out which vehicle it was. Police do not believe alcohol was a factor. No citations have been issued.
