The Spokesman’s editorial cartoon (Jan. 13) showed an obviously deranged person having a difficult climb to gain access to mental health care, but the gun store is right at street level with welcome signs, too.

Perhaps the cartoonist should have included a movie theater between the two, showing extremely violent movies, which seem to affect or influence unbalanced people.
