‘Itty Bitty’ book two available

By The Spokesman-Review

Eve, the kitten who stole the heart of every school bus driver in the Freeman School District, is having a new adventure.

Local children’s author Katie Youngren has written a second book revolving around the antics of the cat which was discovered near the district bus barn last October.

In “Itty Bitty School Bus Kitty Makes New Friends: Another True Story,” Eve moves into her new home with Youngren and finds there are other furry creatures like herself. She meets a dog named Jorge, cats Angel, Pearl and Daisy and a chicken named Paprika.

“The cover still includes the school bus, but we actually got ALL the animals up on the hood for the photo shoot. It was a miracle shot!” Youngren wrote.

Youngren, and Eve, will sign books at Hastings, 15312 E. Sprague Ave., July 9 from 1 to 3 p.m.
