The Spokane Sparx softball team recently won a silver medal in the Summer National Senior Games in Houston. Rebuilding after a bronze-medal performance in 2009, the 50-and-over team contended with 100-degree temperatures, playing three games a day and lost only to a gold medal-winning team from Tennessee.
