Snoqualmie pot day for Willie Nelson just a gag
SNOQUALMIE, Wash. — The Snoqualmie Tribal Council passed a resolution declaring marijuana legal on the reservation on July 30.
The resolution that was passed Thursday on a 4-2 vote is signed by Chairwoman Shelley Burch.
The Seattle Times reports it appears to be an official document. But Burch says it’s a gag souvenir the tribe plans to frame and present to Willie Nelson when he performs that day at the tribe’s Snoqualmie Casino.
Nelson is scheduled is perform the following night, July 31, at Northern Quest Casino near Spokane.
