Pair stabbed in fight over clothing
A confrontation over women’s clothing led a Spokane man to stab two people late Tuesday, police say.
Raymond L. Bell, 45, is accused of stabbing Gary Smith and his son, Jonathan Smith, during a fight that began about 10:45 p.m. at 2517 E. First Ave. Bell banged on the door and demanded clothes belonging to his girlfriend, but when Smith said he didn’t have the items, Bell took a black folding knife out of his pocket and stabbed him in the left arm, according to court documents.
Jonathan Smith was stabbed in the chest and hospitalized with a partially collapsed lung.
A police K-9 tracked Bell to a garage at 2415 E. First Ave., where he was arrested on two counts of first-degree assault.
He remains in jail on $30,000 bond after appearing in Spokane County Superior Court on Wednesday.

Sounds like the girlfriend could have left some of her clothes other places.
The depth of stupidity is evidently bottomless, stabing someone over some clothing.
