Kootenai County sheriff

Miranda Childers, Rathdrum, reported Thursday the $500 theft of cash from her home on the 6600 block of West Twin Lakes Road.

John Hartung, director of the Hayden Public Library, reported Wednesday the $2,586 theft of library books from county libraries in Hayden and Post Falls.

Heather Galland, Rathdrum, reported Wednesday the $700 theft of a laptop computer from her home on the 1000 block of East Chilco Road.
