Don’t raise debt limit

Open letter to the president, to the Republicans and to the Democrats:

Please! No increase in the debt ceiling! No increase in taxes! Do cut the spending!

That is exactly what I have to do as an individual. If I have an income of $2,000 per month, it does me no good to ask my creditors to increase my credit limit if I have no means to make the monthly payments.

Since I don’t have the funds, I must cut my spending or try to get another job. Unlike the government, I am not allowed to ask my neighbors to pay my bills.

Please do not increase the debt limit, do not raise anyone’s taxes and please cut spending.
