Can’t shoot straight

It was absolute perfect timing, Doug Clark’s ombudsman article appearing same day as the “Fatal shots ruled justified” article.

From the latter, if you add them all up, 26 shots were fired by a total of seven officers. An autopsy determined that the suspect was shot twice.

Clearly an ombudsman can’t ask the question, but I certainly will ask it: What did these seven sharpshooters hit with the other 24 shots?

The 7.6 percent accuracy rate is clearly not what sheriff’s Detective Brad Gilbert was talking about when he said “… they are trained for these types of situations.”

Is it?
