Thanks, McMorris Rodgers
I’m surprised by the critical attacks on Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers for both sending out an email asking for opinions on the debt ceiling and for doing her job in D.C. instead of heading out on vacation like most of us get to do in the summer.
As a young person in Spokane, I’m glad to have the opportunity to weigh in on the issues that are affecting us right now in Eastern Washington. I’m proud to have a representative like her in D.C. and appreciate that she is standing up for future generations by putting her foot down on the out-of-control spending going on in D.C.
I believe that as Americans we should only spend the money that we have. Rep. McMorris Rodgers is trying to make this happen. I don’t want my children to be paying for the debt we are accumulating. It is hard trying to move a mountain (budget cuts) with many different opinions. She cannot do it all by herself. She needs the support of everyone around her.
It is time to put down our political differences and unite to help the future generations succeed. Thanks, Rep. McMorris Rodgers, for all you do!
