Zags reveal challenging schedule

Nonconference men’s basketball games against Michigan State, Butler and Arizona highlight the partial schedule announced Friday by Gonzaga University. Michigan State, which has played in eight Final Fours, comes to McCarthey Athletic Center on Dec. 10. Butler, which has been in the last two NCAA tournament title games, arrives on Dec. 20. “This is without a doubt the most aggressive home schedule we’ve played,” said GU head coach Mark Few. Arizona and the Zags will square off Dec. 17 in the ninth annual State Farm Battle in Seattle.
