Control spending now

We need to get government spending and borrowing under control. Small businesses will not spend their cash reserves and expand and create jobs again until they know Washington has this problem under control.

An increase in the debt ceiling is not enough to stave off another economic crisis. Spending cuts are also necessary. We’ve had to adjust and live within our means as individuals and make sure we are not spending more than we are making; it’s well past time for our government to do the same.

U.S. Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers gets this. She has my support.
