Support the Constitution

According to some reports, Congress and the White House are considering an increase in airline “security fees,” which would increase travel costs for every airline passenger. It appears that instead of increasing taxes, Americans will instead be charged “user fees” for various services, making our government cost us more money.

So politicians can say they didn’t raise taxes, but we still pay more for an ever-increasing government.

What infuriates me most, and I hope infuriates every American, is that our elected officials (both parties) are making these deals behind closed doors during a “critical deadline” situation that they themselves have created.

So instead of an open and transparent government, we have an unaccountable ruling class scheming and dictating to the masses. Clearly not what our Founding Fathers established.

Our Constitution makes the people responsible for the government, not subject to the government.

We must contact our elected officials and let them know that “we the people” demand they conduct their duties in accordance with the Constitution. If not, then come November 2012 we must replace them with people who will support and defend our Constitution.
