Spokane Valley Relay for Life 2011 - The Relay for Life event is the American Cancer Society’s signature activity to raise awareness in the community about cancer and how it affects everyone, in every community. Teams of people; family, friends and co-workers will camp out at East Valley High School to take turns walking around a track. Each team is asked to have one person on the track at all times. Cool Water Bikes Annual Poker Ride and Run - Check-in begins at 10 a.m. Bicycle route is 10 miles and run/walk route is 1-3 miles. Participants draw cards along the Centennial Trail to form a poker hand. Prizes will be awarded for the best hands. Ride or walk must be completed by 1 p.m. to be eligible for prizes.
