Mild temperatures here to stay

A mild and partly sunny day is in store for the Inland Northwest with only a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms this afternoon. A series of weak storm disturbances is moving inland from the Pacific Ocean, bringing a threat of showers through Saturday. Sunday’s weather should be mostly sunny in Spokane with a high of 72. Coeur d’Alene will have good weather, but a lingering chance of showers through the weekend. Highs are going to be near 70 with lows near 50 through the next several days. Next week’s weather looks to continue the trend of mild temperatures, some sunshine and a chance of showers. Lakes and rivers remained high across the region.
