City offers day camp

The City of Spokane Valley will begin offering its summer day camp on Monday. Children ages 6-11 can attend weekly sessions with themes like “Barnyard Palooza” and “Drenched.” Each week includes breakfast, lunch, field trips, games, crafts and T-shirts.

The cost is $100 per week or $25 per day. Hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and extended care is available beginning at 7:30 a.m. and ending at 5:30 p.m. at no additional charge. The camp will be held at CenterPlace, 2426 N. Discovery Place. Weekly sessions will continue through the week of Aug. 22.
