Vantage point ready soon
A friend recently found some wild turkey feathers in Mount Spokane State Park. Not unusual – except this was at a high elevation along a hiking trail.
I would suppose wild turkeys will continue to expand and increase their summer range up the mountain – probably well into the subalpine habitat. Just think, in a few years we will be able to watch wild turkeys under the new chairlift that will be built in the approved backside expansion for alpine skiing. At least the deforested ski runs will allow a clear view. I can’t wait.
