Spokane Shine top Rain U23

Marissa Mykines had a goal and an assist to lead the Spokane Shine (2-3-1) to a 3-0 victory over the Portland Rain U23 (1-5) in Women’s Premier Soccer League play on Sunday at Joe Albi Stadium.

Annie Millard took a pass from Ashley Ames and scored in the 21st minute for Spokane.

Mykines netted a penalty kick in the 25th minute to make it 2-0.

Mykines picked up her assist in the 47th minute on a goal by Jaymie Balcom.
