Alternative to programming: Linda Sebero, 63, and her 7-year-old cat, Rusty, found a warm spot to sun themselves Friday near the corner of Spofford Avenue and Elm Street in Spokane. Sebero said she “gave up watching TV for the sunshine” and to read her book, “Term Limits” by Vince Flynn. The cat “thinks he’s a dog,” she said. “He growls at strangers at night.” (Dan Pelle)
