Drug suspect flies off I-90, crashes at Osburn
A Spokane Valley man with a history of drug crimes was arrested Wednesday when he lost control of his car on Interstate 90 and sailed over 3rd Avenue in Osburn in Shoshone County.
Lloyd J. Brown, 52, was taken into custody following the 1 p.m. accident, Idaho Police said.
He was charged with aggravated driving under the influence, possession of methamphetamine, trafficking of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He was being held today at Shoshone County Jail awaiting a first appearance in court later today.
Police said Brown was headed east on I-90 when he failed to make it around a curve to the right, going into the median, over a metal guard rail and vaulting over 3rd Avenue in Osburn.
The vehicle rolled and came to rest below I-90. Brown was wearing a seat belt.
He and a passenger were taken to Shoshone Medical Center for treatment. Brown was later arrested.
News files show that Brown has a drug history involving methamphetamine labs. In one incident, deputies were splashed with dangerous chemicals when Brown tried to flush substances down a toilet during an arrest in 2001. The deputies were taken to a nearby fire station for decontamination.

Well, at least this dipstick was wearing his seat belt. I wonder if the ride was fun while it lasted.

He was high. Probably no clue his car was in flight.

Maybe he was listening to R Kelly?
“I believe I can fly
I believe I can touch the sky
I think about it every night and day
Spread my wings and fly away
I believe I can soar
I see me running through that open door
I believe I can fly
I believe I can fly
I believe I can fly”
