OUTLOOK: A win Sunday would put the Bulldogs in the WCC title game for the 14th straight year and the 16th time in 17 seasons. GU has won 10 championships dating to the 1995 season when the program made its first NCAA tournament. The second-seeded Bulldogs won’t know their opponent until late Saturday night. It’ll either be No. 6 Pepperdine or No. 7 San Diego (they meet Friday) or No. 3 San Francisco, which awaits Friday’s winner. Gonzaga swept Pepperdine and San Diego and split with the Dons in the regular season. The Bulldogs have won eight straight conference games. The Bulldogs were second in scoring (76.6) behind No. 1-seeded Saint Mary’s (77.9).
