Spokane Valley Fire Department – Commissioners discussed a pilot study that will help assess post traumatic stress in firefighters. They also voted to name the conference room in the new administration building after Chief Mike Thompson.

Fairfield City Council – The town has revised the plans for the Main and Ticknor pedestrian bridges at the request of the Department of Transportation. The council voted to approve them. The project will go out to bid later this spring. Members of the Tree Board spoke about their plans to plant trees in Hart Park. (Source: Town clerk Cheryl Loeffler)

Rockford City Council – Bids were opened for the town’s water reservoir project and the council awarded the bid to Mountain Crest. Construction is expected to begin around April 15. The council also discussed how to improve drainage in the park and the need for more electrical service at the fairgrounds for vendors.
