New Faces

Brent Wilcox has been hired as information technology director for Columbia Basin Health Association. He previously worked for the Kalispel Tribal Economic Authority and Northern Quest Casino as information technology director and has more than 20 years of high technology and management experience.

Skils’Kin has hired Ken Withey as IT director. He previously taught at ITT Technical Institute and was owner and manager of Sentinel Web service. The company also hired Jennifer Lusk as employment director. She previously worked as a vocational specialist and advocate for individual rights for Goodwill Industries.

Rockwood Plastic Surgery Center has hired Philip Weidner as a physician assistant. He is a graduate of the University of Washington, Medex Northwest.

Calico Svendsen has been hired as a real estate agent for Keller Williams Realty Spokane. He previously worked for ReMax. The company also hired Richard Neve and Carlos Abrahams as agents. Neve previously worked for Coldwell Banker and Abrahams previously worked for Windermere South Regal in Spokane.

Pinnacle Physical Therapy in Post Falls has hired Lisa Smalley as a physical therapist. She holds a bachelor’s degree in life sciences from Kansas State University, a master’s degree in physical therapy from the University of Kansas Medical Center and has 12 years of outpatient physical therapy experience.

Tamey Phillips has been hired as business development and account manager for Studio H Advertising and Design. She previously worked for Sleeping Giants Media Works Inc. as vice president of mortgage servicing.

The Institute for Systems Medicine has hired Christi D’Agostino as project coordinator. She holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology and criminal justice from Gonzaga University and previously mentored freshmen athletes at the university.

Dr. Rodney Borden has been hired by Anesthesiology Associates PS in the practice of anesthesiology. He is a graduate of the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, and completed his internship and residency at John Sealy Hospital.

Promotions

Nicholas Knapton P.S. has promoted Emily Magnuson from a Staff B to Staff A accountant and Viktoriya Malko from an intern to Staff B accountant.

Skils’Kin promoted Lisa Rosier from community living services manager to community living services director. Amy Johnson has been promoted to chief operating officer for the Institute for Systems Medicine.

Kudos

Nancy White has earned the Certified Residential Specialist designation from the Council of Residential Specialists. White is a real estate agent with Windermere Coeur d’Alene Realty. The following individuals received Presidential Awards from the Spokane Home Builders Association during its annual Installation and Awards Banquet: Tara Malik of River City Solid Surface, Garth Trimble of KAYU Fox TV, Aaron Gimmeson of AMG Training and Leonard Terzenbach of Bell-Anderson Insurance.

Ben & Jerry’s named David Wolffe a “Ben & Jerry’s All Star” for providing exceptional customer service. Lori Freeman was named Manager of the Year. Wolffe is a shift lead and Freeman is manager at Ben & Jerry’s in River Park Square.

Appointed

Clinical nurse educator Annmarie Keck and medical director Dr. James Nania have been appointed to the steering committee on EMS and Trauma Systems by Gov. Christine Gregoire. Both work for Northwest MedStar.
