Seeking term limits for board members

I went to Modern Electric Water Company’s annual meeting Feb. 26. The voting of board members is a joke.

They said they like new people to run to be board of directors, but they don’t say these people haven’t a chance to win. I’ve been to more than 20 annual meetings and only one time has an incumbent been defeated.

We only get a new board member if the old board member gets sick, dies or moves out of the district.

We need to have term limits, so the new people who want to serve on the board have a chance of winning someday. Modern Electric Water Company shareholders and people wanting to be on the board should call and tell them we want term limits.

Without term limits, I can predict next year’s winner. Any bets?
