Police blotter

Coeur d’Alene police

Rainy Hudson reported Sunday the $490 theft of a laptop computer and camera from her home on the 300 block of West Mill Avenue.

Kootenai County sheriff

Jonathan Moffet, owner of Advanced Forestry Equipment, reported Monday the $1,500 theft of scrap steel from the business at 18157 N. Cedar Grove Lane in Hayden.

Katherine Vanwinkle, Spokane, reported Friday the $328 theft of a purse and jacket from her 2002 Saturn parked at Big Al’s, 6361 W. Seltice Way in Post Falls.

Amy Cooper, Worley, reported Thursday the $660 theft of a laptop computer and carrying case, camera and tools from her home on the 21000 block of South Cave Bay Road.

Brian Peterson, Coeur d’Alene, reported Friday $500 damage to a door of his home on the 8000 block of North Westview Drive.

Robert Trotter, owner of B & C Trotter Welding, reported Friday the $450 theft of a sign from the business at 10784 N. Government Way in Hayden.

Paul Celeri Jr., employee of Scenic Bay Resort, reported Friday $800 damage to the window of a motor home and floating bar at the business at 3415 N. Lakeside Avenue in Bayview.

Steven Smith, Spokane, reported Friday the $500 theft of tools from a home on the 1200 block of West Orchard Avenue in Hayden.
