Sliding scale

Wow! Let’s see if I have this straight. On one hand, the right wing whines about a tax burden for those making a quarter million dollars or more a year in the private sector because it’s really hard to get by on such a paltry pittance. While on their other hand, these same screaming meanies will vilify a public employee making $50,000 a year plus some collectively bargained-for benefits as being greedy and overpaid.

In right-wing world, the former does not make enough money and the latter makes too much. It amazes me that anyone is capable of holding two opposing trains of thought as both being true at the same time. Right-wing blather points and those that fall for them give me a headache in my eye.
