Trump played gullibility card

H.L. Menken said it. “Nobody ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public.”

Over the years, various people have substituted nouns and verbs of their choice into that sentence, to express their different concerns. Here’s my version.

“Nobody ever lost an election by underestimating the gullibility of the American public.”

Sad, isn’t it?

Go, Trump!
