Colfax police identify woman killed crossing road

A 76-year-old woman was struck and killed by a pickup truck while crossing the street Saturday afternoon in Colfax.
According to the Colfax Police Department, Maryann Largent was in the crosswalk at the intersection of Main and Stevens streets in Colfax at 3:35 p.m. when she was hit by a 2008 Chevrolet pickup, driven by Jesse Kilpatrick, 57, of Moses Lake.
She was transported from the scene by Colfax Ambulance to Whitman Community Hospital where she died from her injuries.
The incident remains under investigation by the Colfax Police Department and Washington State Patrol.
