Spokane Valley woman killed in North Idaho accident

A Spokane Valley woman died Friday afternoon in a car collision near Athol. Myra Gann, 76, was northbound in a 2000 Honda Accord on Highway 95 near Brunner Road about 3 p.m. Friday, Idaho State Police said. She attempted to make a U-turn from the right-hand shoulder, and was hit by a northbound 2002 Chevy Avalanche driven by Kyle Meschko, 22, of Sagle. Gann was transported to Kootenai Medical Center in Coeur d’Alene, where she died. Meschko was not injured, ISP said. The investigation is continuting.
