Deer Park motorcyclist accused of DUI, hit and run

A motorcyclist was injured Sunday evening when he collided with a vehicle waiting to turn left off state Highway 290 at Adams Road. Earl Wade Wilkerson, 48, of Deer Park, was headed west on Highway 290 on a 2007 Kawasaki motorcycle when the accident occurred at 6 p.m. He was wearing a helmet. He struck a 1997 Plymouth Voyager that was headed east and waiting in a left turn pocket to go north on Adams Road. The driver of the vehicle, Linda Marie Dennis, 30, of Spokane, was not injured. She was wearing a seat belt. Washington State Patrol troopers said that Wilkerson was being charged with driving under the influence and hit and run.
