A salute for the sheriff

I have been actively involved in the business community of Spokane for many years and have had the good fortune to get to know Sheriff Ozzie Knezovich. I have become frustrated by what seems to be endless attacks against the sheriff, particularly in the Creach case.

This situation was tragic, but the questioning of Ozzie’s integrity and to imply the loss of public trust with his office is simply incorrect. Couple this with the two misguided state representatives posturing for re-election by pushing a ridiculous bill forward to prevent unmarked police cars from parking on private property and we have a recipe for disaster.

Integrity is defined as the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles, moral uprightness. Ozzie exemplifies this definition, and he or any of his fine men and women are always welcome to park on my private property, in any car they choose. Thank you for what you do for this community, sheriff.
