After rain today and Saturday, the weather for the rest of the Memorial Day weekend is looking decent. Or as good as can be expected for this holiday in the Northwest.

Here’s your National Weather Service forecast for Memorial Day weekend:

Today: Showers likely, chance of precipitation 70 percent. Mostly cloudy with a high near 56 in Spokane, 52 in Coeur d’Alene.

Tonight: 60 percent chance of showers, low around 40.

Saturday: 50 percent chance of showers, high near 56 in Spokane, 53 in Coeur d’Alene.

Saturday night: 20 percent chance of showers, low around 40.

Sunday: Slight chance of showers, partly sunny, high near 66 in Spokane, 63 in Coeur d’Alene.

Sunday night: 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, low around 43.

Monday: Slight chance of showers, mostly cloudy, high near 67.

Monday night: 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mostly cloudy, low around 45.
