Coeur d’Alene police seek five men in robbery
Coeur d’Alene police detectives are working to identify five men who beat and robbed three teenagers on Tubbs Hill Monday about 8:30 p.m.
The three teenagers reported they were walking onto the hill with the group of five men, one of whom was in his 30s, according to a Coeur d’Alene Police Department news release. The victims said they met the group in a parking lot and one of the victims knew one of the attackers from school.
As the group was walking up the hill, the five men attacked the victims, beat them up, stole money from their wallets and took their cell phones, the news release said.
The attackers said the victims’ phones would be waiting for them at the bottom of the hill and the victims later retrieved the phones. According to the news release, no serious injuries were reported.
The Coeur d’Alene Police Department is investigating the case and asks anyone with information about the robbery to call (208) 769-2363.

I think the sweet fella who lives near there, and who carves sticks for little kiddos and cute former marketing babes needs to branch out (hahaha, I know) and carve maces and axe handles and crossbows and Apache attack choppers so next time some thugs n hooligans come traipsing down the hill, their knuckles dragging, their thick purple tongues trailing nasty viscous fluids of indeterminate origin, looking to beat someone up find themselves getting their, admittedly empty, noggins cracked and smacked.
Take back the hill. Take it all back.

At least it sounds like they have a good lead on the attackers. Hopefully they will be questioned and decisions made.
