Volunteer opportunities

 

Communities In Schools – Volunteers are needed to help site coordinators at Shaw Middle School and/or Sheridan Elementary School. Volunteers will be asked to commit to a minimum of four hours per week to help with paperwork, student programs, watching students during/between classes, lunch times, recess times and tutoring. Arc of Spokane – The Arc of Spokane Advocacy and Family Support is in need of a library aide to review the library and its organization, checking for inaccuracies. Other duties would include re-shelving books and updating the content list. Volunteers are needed on a monthly basis. Camp Fire USA Inland Northwest Council – Opportunities are available to be a club co-leader in the Spokane and Coeur d’Alene area. Contact Marcia Asmussen, program coordinator, at (509) 747-6191.

Corbin Senior Activity Center – Lunch helpers are needed to set and clear tables, make coffee and serve food on Wednesdays. Volunteers are also needed to pick up food once a month.
