G.W. “Dub” Hall receives an energetic welcome as he and 25 other World War II veterans return from an Honor Flight trip to Washington, D.C., on Sunday at Spokane International Airport. Honor Flight flies veterans to the capital to visit the memorials built in their honor.

Hundreds of family, friends and well-wishers cheered Sunday as the veterans arrived in Spokane.

Dan Foster, who flew in World War II, Korea, the Cuban Missile Crisis and Vietnam, is greeted with cheers Sunday at Spokane International Airport. He was among 26 Northwest Honor Flight veterans who traveled to Washington, D.C., over the weekend.
